You can join in the effort to increase understanding and wise use of the Southeast Coastal Plains.

CPI is a nonprofit educational and research organization that needs tax-exempt contributions from the public. It's main purpose is the preservation of the biotic diversity of the Coastal Plain of the southeastern United States, a broad natural region of the eastern U.S. stretching from east Texas to the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Focussing primarily on, but not restricted to, north Florida, CPI believes its main objective can best be achieved through two activities: To disseminate knowledge and understanding of natural history, ecology, and environments of the Coastal Plain through various means of environmental education; and to increase new knowledge through scientific studies. Through the increase and dissemination of knowledge we hope that the biotic diversity of the U.S. Coastal Plain will be preserved forever. Any person wishing to assist in achieving the objectives of the Coastal Plains Institute is invited to join. Tax Deductible contributions made out to the Coastal Plains Institute should be mailed to the address below.
