We could not do the work we do without you! Here is how your donations make a big impact in our community and throughout the Coastal Plain:

Our Internship Program mentors at least 8 Florida A&M and Florida State University students each year.
Our free field trip program introduces students of all ages to scientific research and the magic of their local environment.
Through partnerships with breeding institutions and other non-profits, we have released over 4,500 striped newts into Apalachicola National Forest wetlands.
Our Adopt a Pond program engages the public to monitor amphibian populations in 50 Apalachicola National Forest wetlands
Through frequent, growing season burns, we have provided habitat for 15 federally and state listed plant species on our Apalachicola Lowlands Preserve
Big Bend Biodiversity and Secrets of the River tours provides ways for the public to learn why the Big Bend is a biodiversity hotspot.
